PG Technologies, Inc. is a recognized leader in the engineering and manufacture of silicone rubber keypads. We specialize in value-adding services, including digital interchange of artwork via the internet, complete manufacturing capabilities, and fast turnaround of quotes and orders.

From the design phase through to the finished product, our engineering staff reviews customer specifications and provides recommendations and expert opinions regarding critical elements of keypad design, such as key-top hardness and finish, operating force, pre-travel, color-matching, etc.

Our flexible manufacturing processes allow us to produce prototypes and short production runs quickly, in a very cost-effective manner.

Manufacturing Capabilities and Design Options:

• Key-top: plain silicone rubber; gloss or matte spray coating; gloss or matte epoxy coating (hard or soft); plastic cap; hard rubber cap.

• Printing and color matching: full silk screen printing capabilities, full Pantone color matching capabilities; wide range of translucent colors.

• Contact point: carbonized silicon pills available from 2-10mm in diameter.

• Temperature range: -50 C to +250 C.

• Full range of high-performance adhesives for varied needs and applications.

• Complete unit’ manufacturing capabilities, including supply of printed circuit boards, imbedded LEDs, and LCDs, supplied as a completed assembly.

• In-house CAD/CAM design and artwork generation capabilities, ensuring that design flexibility, manufacturing accuracy, and product quality is achieved to a very high level.

Keypads can be mounted on printed circuit boards, with imbedded LEDs. A wide range of adhesives and other mounting options are available.
